Pamela Anderson plays a seasoned Las Vegas performer in The Last Showgirl , dressed in vintage Bob Mackie costumes, but don’t expect to find a single sequin or sparkle floating in her press tour style. Anderson, whose performance in Gia Coppola’s film has already earned Golden Globe and SAG Award nominations, has bucked the methodological dressing trend that has dominated Hollywood in recent years.
Instead, the actress opted for a “rich mom” look with understated winter classics, mostly done in bold monochrome colors. Brands like Tôteme, Ferragamo, The Row and Bottega Veneta — all favorites of fashion insiders, of course — have become go-tos for Anderson in recent weeks.

While this type of minimalist ’90s dressing is all the rage among celebrities right now, Anderson’s press wardrobe feels completely authentic to her as an individual. The actress famously went makeup-free at Paris Fashion Week last year and has completely foregone glamour in her appearances since.
Yes, Anderson’s luxe, laid-back wardrobe is a contrast to the glitz and glitz of The Last Showgirl . It’s also a contrast to an awards season where celebrities dress up as their on-screen roles or even as other actresses. Just look at the 2025 Golden Globes for proof.
But it seems that Anderson, who spent the early part of her career in slinky evening gowns (and, notably, a very, very large fur hat), prefers to let her performance do the talking rather than her clothes. Although, certainly, it’s safe to say that her press style may be the most interesting of any leading actress this year.

That approach has worked well for the 57-year-old actress. She earned her first-ever Golden Globe nomination earlier this month, where she wore a black Oscar de la Renta gown and opera gloves, and was surprisingly nominated for best actress at the SAG Awards.
