From the age of three, Michelle began her career appearing in television commercials, showcasing a natural ease in front of the camera. She made her first television appearances in the series The Adventures of Pete & Pete (1994-1996), playing Nona Mecklenberg. However, it was in 1996 that she truly gained public recognition by starring in Harriet the Spy, a film adaptation of the beloved children’s novel.
Her career reached new heights when she joined the cast of the cult series Buffy the Vampire Slayer in 2000, portraying Dawn Summers, Buffy’s younger sister. Her performance was praised for its emotional depth and the fresh dynamic she brought to the show. Michelle continued to expand her range with various roles, most notably as Georgina Sparks in the hit series Gossip Girl, a complex and intriguing character who captivated audiences.
