Once again, Kaia Gerber is having a Dôen-girl summer.
Last night in Los Angeles, the model-turned-actor donned one of the Santa Barbara-born brand’s iconic (and sold-out) peasant dresses for a night on the town with Karlie Kloss. Gerber chose Dôen’s “Augustina” midi dress. This currently unavailable style features lace trim along the bust and an empire waist adorned with a belted bow. Gerber paired her dress with Repetto’s “Camille” block-heeled ballet flats, a ballet-style silhouette she’s worn frequently in the past, including to the Tribeca Film Festival in June.
Gerber completed her look with a midnight blue Chanel flap bag, featuring a claw clip attached to its silver straps, naturally, glowing, natural skin and brunette curls.

Dôen has become the go-to brand for celebrities seeking refined basics (their white T-shirts are cult favorites) and bohemian dresses like Gerber’s. The brand, founded by sisters Margaret and Katherine Kleveland, has garnered a near-cult following, with celebrities like Jennifer Lawrence and Kylie Jenner regularly wearing their designs. Dakota Johnson’s materialistic style was a favorite with Dôen dresses, as was her wardrobe.
True to her style, Gerber was one step ahead of Dôen. She’s been wearing Dôen since 2023 (the year her book club, Library Science, released a limited collection of nightgowns under the brand) and has worn their suede Mary Janes on repeat.
It’s easy to see why Gerber is so drawn to Dôen: as a Los Angeles native herself, that kind of laid-back, California-cool style never gets old.
