When it comes to dressing for a night out, FKA Twigs proved yesterday that it’s not so much what you wear, but how you wear it. For a London party, the British singer and actress transformed a simple gray hoodie from her own collection into a fashion statement. Apparently, you can turn those old concert T-shirts and hoodies you buy at the booth into cocktail attire if you accessorize them correctly.
Twigs donned a loose-fitting sweatshirt, a minidress-style, while promoting her new album, Eusexua; her hoodie was emblazoned with the project’s title in pale blue letters. Instead of pants, the singer opted for a pair of black thigh-high boots. Like her oversized hoodie, her shoes were trimmed with excess fabric to create the illusion of leg warmers.
Of course, a handbag is essential for any evening outfit. Twigs added an “Old Money” touch to her hoodie by slinging a white Chanel flap bag over her shoulder. (Unlike Rihanna earlier this week, she opted not to accessorize her Chanel bag with an even smaller model.) Oversized black sunglasses, a rave-wear staple, perfectly completed her outfit, while Eusexua drew inspiration from Prague’s underground music scene.

Whether on the red carpet or at the club, going pantless is nothing new for Twigs. In August 2024, the singer and actress revisited the look with an avant-garde twist to host a listening party for Eusexua. She wore a leather corset, sheer underwear, and a bag adorned with long strands of her hair. Bold, chunky boots, like the ones she wore last night, are equally essential. The singer regularly wears sky-high, towering boots (usually by Rick Owens), which she seems to prefer to traditional pants.
According to Twigs, even a simple sweatshirt is perfect for a party. Just add the perfect accessories.
Very beautiful.
