28 Years Later co-stars Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Jodie Comer revisit their looks from 45 years ago. While in London earlier today, the actors opted for 1970s silhouettes with a decidedly 2025 feel for a photoshoot celebrating Danny Boyle’s sequel. High-waisted suits and old-school elegance were the order of the day.

Taylor-Johnson led the way with a sleek two-tone look, pairing a knit sweater with a matching leather jacket and gold necklaces. The real highlight was the waist: the actor’s flared pants, long and tailored with slight pleats, evoked the spirit of ’70s rock stars, as did his high-heeled boots and gold-trimmed belt.

Comer matched her co-star’s energy with a crisp Gucci shirt. She paired it with slightly flared pants that fell perfectly at her natural waist, capturing Taylor-Johnson’s proportions. A horsebit leather belt, another Gucci signature, added a touch of elegance. On her feet, Comer opted for sleek black sandals, while oversized cat-eye sunglasses completed the look.

Both stars opted for understated and sophisticated color palettes, such as chocolate brown and jet black, which they paired with touches of silver and gold. Far from the garish, printed suits of the ’70s, they embraced the defining features of the era through silhouette, proportions, and texture rather than color or pattern. Clean lines, flared pants, and high waists made the difference. Together, Taylor-Johnson and Comer seemed to have stepped out of a mid-’70s time machine, only sleeker, sharper, and more colorful for a decade defined by “quiet luxury.”
