Kim Kardashian is dedicated to service. The reality star and Skims mogul may be nursing a foot injury, but don’t expect her to be donning anything doctor-approved anytime soon. Last night in Los Angeles, Kim hosted her Skims Christmas party in stunning style. Yes, black medical boots included.
Kim wore a form-fitting gown by French designer Ludovic de Saint Sernin for the occasion. The dress featured a plunging neckline and cutout detailing along Kim’s abs. The center of Kim’s skirt was trimmed with silver eyelets, a detail that has become de Saint Sernin’s signature over the years. Kim continued to sport her long, wispy bangs (we still wonder how she can see in those things) and nude PVC heels. Later in the evening, she donned her black medical boots, perhaps at the request of her doctor who spotted her walking around New York City earlier this month in a pair of similar heels.
While Kim has yet to elaborate on how she sustained the injury (perhaps from all those motorcycle escapades in a thong), she’s clearly not letting it get to her. Last week, the star hit up Fifth Avenue in New York City where she unveiled (in front of hundreds of adoring fans) Skims’ new four-story retail space. For the event, she wore a second-skin look similar to her last look: an ivory bustier paired with skin-tight pants and her favorite plastic pumps.
Instead of wearing medical boots, she donned a comfy pair of UGGs to mingle with guests, including Ciara, Cardi B and Ice Spice.
A few days later, Kim (and her scooter) were spotted on the West Coast attending Billie Eilish’s concert in Los Angeles. It’s safe to say that clear shoes and leather outfits aren’t exactly the way to heal a broken foot. But if there’s one thing about Kim, it’s that she knows how to make the best of any situation, even a broken limb.
