Tyla’s secret to accessorizing her classic evening gown? Her legs. The South African singer hit the streets of Rome yesterday for a party, wearing a bodycon disco dress that was not only entirely sequined, but also featured a slit all the way down to her waist.
The iridescent finish of Tyla’s dress shimmered as she moved throughout the evening. While this amount of sparkle would have been enough for most people at a party, the dress’s exaggerated slit gave it a decidedly va-va-voom look. The detail wasn’t just a simple leg slit: it was a classic, like the evening gown with a slit at the waist. Some would even go so far as to call this detail a “side cleavage,” given the recent celebrity craze for unexpected glimpses of skin. And with legs like those, why not take advantage of the opportunity to show them off?
The singer completed her look with a sleek bun, Gianvito Rossi metallic pumps, and silver hoop earrings.
And as if one evening outfit wasn’t enough, Tyla donned another trendy outfit later that night during a performance at the Mercedes-Benz launch party. She wore a bright red dress and matching thong, which she styled with black riding boots. The layered fringe of the piece danced with the singer as she performed her hits.

Before her Italian getaway, Tyla conquered Paris Fashion Week earlier this week. On Monday, she attended the Chanel Fall 2025 show (her front row at a brand presentation) in impeccable schoolgirl style. She wore a Barbie pink bustier and miniskirt, paired with a cropped jacket, black Mary Janes, and silver and gold anklets. “I wanted to feel like a classic, rich Chanel,” she said of the look.
Between her little Chanel ensemble and last night’s bold party looks, there’s almost nothing Tyla can’t pull off.
